Yeah well, you try to protect what you are responsible for, no matter what. There is no way I'm going to stand there and watch them tear my dog apart and do nothing. There was no time to get a weapon of any kind so I did the only thing I could, I jumped onto the pile and paid the price. Luckily, for me, the price wasn't that high. For others, it has been, and in the future will be extremely high. I don't advocate a ban on the dogs but if there is an incident of any kind, the owner of the dog should damn well be facing some serious consequences.

Kind of like owning a gun. I think every swinging dick out there should start out with a clean sheet and be able to own a gun, carry it on their person for protection, whatever. But if they abuse that right and do something stupid with it...the shit better hit the fan.

It absolutely does. The gun regulators have made sure of that. Theres a law and a punishment for just about everything you can think of when it comes to guns.

Sorry to hear what happened DrDirt. Unfortunately in your situation it seems both those dogs were already in the "zone" for your Westie. Their prey drive was up and wasnt going to stop at anything. Its sad how irresponsible those owners were and could give two shits.

As for everyone else that hates "Pitbulls" without a real cause. I send out an open invitation to anyone that would like to meet my real American Pitbull Terrier and show you what a true responsible owner looks like and also how they are not the "killer" everyone makes them out to be. Dont be suprised when you realize how small of a dog they really are.

The most damage Enzo has ever done was kill a pillow when he got bored of having it in his crate

I love the coat on your's. Enzo just turned 8 months on the 10th and he is pretty much full grown. He might fill in a little more but thats about it. My goal with him is to keep him under 50lbs and real lean
