HUGE SALE at GEARHEAD PERFORMANCE
^ Ditto what Josh just said.
I had never met Tommy before that day...Nice guy. Plus, I got to have fun "shopping". Not something I usually do. Usually, I go to the store, find a plcae to sit and wait until the wife says " Ok honey...It's time to pay" and I pay for a bunch of crap I can't use or even stand to be around....and the whole time I'm around a bunch of stuck up snotty bitches who think their crap doesn't stink. At least at this sale, everyone knew they stunk and no-one cared.
LMAO

+11 mille.
SPW / A&E are and were two completely separate businesses. When you
"used" to walk into A&E and ask, "can I get XXX part?" And they would pull up their (A&E) inventory and it was not in stock, they would simply then pull up SPW's inventory, price it, tell you they could get it at XXX price, and walk through the double doors to the SPW counter and buy it from them, to sell to you at the front counter.
Anything that fit into THAT category was NOT half off on Saturday.
If you guys would have taken a moment to talk to some of the guys, specifically Ed, you would have found out that he was more than willing to work with you. I placed several special order pieces with them, that were not in stock at A&E (Now Gearhead), or SPW, and had to be ordered directly from the Manufacturer - and I am/was VERY VERY HAPPY with the purchase price that Ed gave me on those items. Normal retail: $199.95, jobber list at $169.95, I got the part at cost of $105.
In addition to the few special order parts, I got several MSD items, a carb, a line lock, and a couple other goodies - and got out the door with under $500 spent total!! Easily over $1000 of parts.
Thanks to Mitch, Ed, Gearhead, & all the other employees that made this possible for us at Christmas time & in a trying economy! Even though the lines were uber-shit, and Mitch was pumping out 3 customers to all the other lines' one customer - we walked away happy, got to get some great parts, great prices, hung out with some old friends, met some new gearheads, and made the best of the situations that we could!
