$6.13 in tax.

Total (for the math challenged) 93.62 They didn't have all the NOS things I needed...but oh well. Can't win em all.

I wish I had the money for the DR's, but oh well. I told the wife if it was a choice between the DR's and the rest of the stuff...I was going to get the DR's. LOL But it was still too much for me at the time.

 

Ive run them for many miles on several cars Ive owned without an issue. I have some new MSD wires also, just dont want to make them up

 

Drove by the store in St Pete on my way back from Shauns,.. I was going to stop in,.. but they looked packed and I had my car on the trailer so I hit the store in New Port Richey after I dropped my car off at home.

I got a Felpro 1262 intake gasket, some windshield chalk.

3 Autometer Phantom gauges,.. Oil pressure, Temp and Volt gauges and a bracket to hold the gauges in the center of the dash. $96.00

They have some MT 26x10.5 ET Drags out on the floor,.. I was half temped to buy them,.. a steal for 1/2 off. But still have plenty tread left on my ET Streets,.. and needed to save some money for other Christmas goodies.

We had a blast, Mitch sorry I didn't say thanks and bye, I was on the phone with a crazy customer and she had me all crazy when I carried the sub frames out!!! We fucked up and we chose the wrong line, you were pumping your line out like crazy, it took over 2 hours for our line to get to us and there were only 6 people ahead of us!! But we had a great time hanging out with everyone...

 

I might be the only one but I thought this sale was a fucking joke. I was one of the first 5 in the door and tried to get a pair of dr's and found out that they had 4 radials total in stock. One pair (i think he got them before I did) and 2 odd ball units. They had no bovs,wgs or any other turbo stuff to speak of.

I asked the guy what they had in stock and he told me their entire stock was what was in the show room. Told me the back room was empty and anything I saw was from southern performance. Couldn't beleive it because they had no stock even though a few guys had called to verify they had stuff a few days before but now wasn't available.

Guess I shouldn't be to suprised as if it sounds to good it most likely is.

it was a fucking loke,i was the first one at the b'ton store just to get a pair of slicks,of coarse they had no slicks,2 odd ball sizes of dr's,and the little fat fuck behind the counter hid shit in the back of the store and when ask about the stuff in the back he said "we cant sell that stuff for half price",but when his buddy came up to him he went to the backand got his friend 2 set of edelbrock heads,and had none on the self,gearhead performance is a fucking joke,murray's speed shop is the way to go,hope those lying bastards go out of business

 

Interesting...I think you ask too much...or just don't know enough about what that specific situation was.

I mean....IS IT POSSIBLE....that the guy who got the heads might have ordered them BEFORE the sale?

I mean, a PAIR of edelbrock heads is not something that the speed shops keep "in stock" on a regular basis. They might have ONE, but not usually two. Plus, if he ordered them before the sale, then they MIGHT have given them to him at cost, but not likely. Most likely he recieved a call from the guy at the shop the day before telling him that his parts were in. He wanted his parts early so he could put them on his car and play by night time....

I was at the 56th st store on Friday. Bobby was working then and I arrived right when the store opened. He was busy on the phone letting people know that their parts were in and they could come pick them up....I'm sure that since it was Friday, and these people usually have jobs to pay for these parts, they were planning on showing up on Saturday. I watched a lady show up on Saturday to pick up a part for her son come in and Bobby had to go to the back and get the part. He sold her the part at cost. So, it's POSSIBLE....Gearhead Performance will get my money when I need parts....Unless I find a drastic price difference somewhere else. LOL

 

Well, I mean, sure it was a little misleading with the 'in stock' and 'in the warehouse' gimmick....but guys...half price is half price. Everything in the showroom was half price. There were plenty of things in the showroom.
