See, now this would've been a valid grievance that Ford Tech would've had your back on if you haven't come in here being a fucking moron about how you stated it.

How do people conduct business anymore? I just don't get it.

 

It's been one week and two days since the sale. Judging by the enamorous amounts of people at just the one location that I was personally at, I can only imagine the ACTUAL amount of customers they received that day.

Having said that, they certainly did NOT get the orders all placed on Sunday, as most of their vendors/distributors were probably not available to place the orders. Moving to Monday, they surely had to get some, or most, of the orders placed at all of the vendors/distributors. So one week lead time from ordering on Monday would put you at Today - BEST CASE SCENARIO.

Realistically, chances are that all the special order items were not input completely until about Wednesday - would be my guess. And if each of those items had ZERO compatability issues (meaning: not back-stocked, not out-of-order, shipped timely, received timely, etc) - then you'll be LUCKY to get them by, say, Wednesday.

IMO - if you bought something cheap enough at the Sale, then you should be willing to wait a few days, period.

...Pick two! So you got a quality part cheap... It's not going to get here overnight bud.

Just my observation on how things are probably panning out at Gearhead currently.

And, you're right that Gearhead does not have a Warehouse, but we've already pointed out the fact that SPW (Southern Performance Warehouse) is a separate business entity, and the items at said Warehouse were NOT included in the 50% off sale.

 

The holidays wouldnt have nothing to do with the shipping being a lil slower than normal either, now would it?

no it wouldnt,i ordered from ,madko,summit and tci tues and got my stuff friday,when you buy something and they say 4-5 days that doesnt mean fucking 2 weeks,i still dont have my stuff,theyre garbage,just you dick suckers giving them props

 

hahahahaha i have to agree with bigvreeland1980.... every time i call there the dumb ass at bradenton store has to call me back with a answer. lol then they have to order everything... then ur out a week to 2 weeks. lol i go to murrays they have it in store or i get it tommarow. and they have parts for anything worth modifying. so u peaple that go to gear head go ahead get screwed. murrays is cheaper. oh by the way gearheard gets there parts from speed and custom ware house.... witch is owned by murrays. u guys are fucking retards.... the bradenton store fell apart when the 2 guys that worked there for like 10 years left and went some where else... lol goodluck to gear head cause murrays owns flordia. murrays has been open since 1939... and they have 12 stores... so u take ur pick.... and good luck getting someone who knows what the fuck they are doing there. the moral of the story is go to murrays more parts in stock

with the amount of orders we had, there was/is bound to be a couple that were missed... WE ARE SORRY for that !!!!! and we have corrected that !!!! also the warehouses we order from DID NOT HAVE SOME OF THE PARTS IN STOCK !!!!!! so they have to come from the manufacturer !!!!!! and if the manufacturer doesn't have it,, then....... well you get the point..... we are doing everything we can to fullfil the orders as soon as possible..

As for the "dicksucker" comment from douchebagmagillicutty bigvreeland, I could give a rabbit turd about GEARHEAD vs. MURRAY's or whatever. I could give a shit as to who owns what warehouse. At the end of the day, I chose to do business there to support a contributing member to this Forum: Mitch aka "slow poke" (above).

Here I thought it was a ford guy trying to give us other guys a heads up, not some guy advertising for his own place of work. Next time you are advertising for your company you should let us know so we don't waste our time.

I could care less about Murry's vs gearhead. I'd never even heard of murrys. From my personal dealing with gearhead I would not use them unless I had to. Part of that is my fault from not understanding slowpokes relationship with said company. The other part is just how they did the sale and isn't his fault.

 

Mitch worked for A&E, which was bought out by Gearhead. Mitch now works for Gearhead, and I am happy to have helped support him and the company he works for.
