id be happy to go to events and whatnot, but for the $100 id be paying for 2 runs of legal drifting id rather just do it in a lot and risk getting pulled over. i might pay $110 in tickets but at least ive got some seat time under my belt.

thats how i used to look at it anyway, if a event gets pulled together that allows more seat time and doesnt rape my wallet, im in for sure.

See, it's people like you that don't help the sport grow. people EXACTLY like you.

The difference between me, who was a street drifter, and you?

I realized there wasn't any venue to do this, so I went, and found one, and made it work, and got an event going. rather than complain about it, I did something about it. It's called being pro-active, and all successful people have this characteristic.

maybe we should organize a impromptu meeting to bounce ideas off of eachother. I would have no problem going to something like that. Zate, Kyle, Matt, ???, and whoever else wants to attend needs to be there. Like Matt said, if we want it bad enough, WE need to make it happen. Any suggestions on when and where we should have a meeting?

my .02 on the street vs. event drifting is, there's only so much you can learn hitting random parking lots.

if you want to be good, you need events.

my question is this... if the dg guys can pull of the orlando one for cheap and have it sell out before I even knew about it. why can't we pull this off in tampa?

cool matt, you did it then. do it again.

id be all over it, there are skid pads you can rent out its just a matter if theyre willing to let an actual event fly.

exactly...i want to be able to hit the same corner more than 2-3 times before I have to leave. Event drifting is really the only way.....
