so what did we learn?
I've done plenty. I don't have the time or want to organize another event. I have enough fun going to the events that are already set up, hanging out with friends, building my own car, and doing the school thing. I did the pro thing already, and drifting is moreso out of my system these days. its just for random fun once in a while at the few events we have. Honestly, I'm more into building high rpm sr's than driving them these days.

well if the parking lot is seal coated then it will take that off... which is what I think happened at the first dday, but I could be wrong..
other than that, it will fuck up the painted parking lines of normal lots... both cost money, road courses are aways worried about their grass too

+1 id rather work on cars then drive them.

What's funny is that sealcoated blacktops don't usually get worn or damaged that badly at all from drifting. Actually, drifting won't really do much damage to any pavement surfaces, but standing burnouts will. A standing burnout will put a hole through asphalt. This is I think the erroneous association that many venue owners are relating drifting to.

the thing is, it still generates black streaks all over the concrete.
i took this at the 2005 formula d chicago from the sears tower after it was all over, you can clearly see the track line even 120+ stories up. this is the problem people dont want on their expensive concrete.
