It's my favorite cartoon about drifting. Thats about all I have to say.

 

i dont know how this sounds....but growing up in japan i didn't watch initial d.... my dad and friends got me into drifting originally...and later on i saw a few episodes of it that my friend had taped....but it wasnt till i moved here last year that i watched the full series.... but i love it...but im not all into like some other people are with all this crap on their sigs and stuff....

 

1996 is when it started in japan. so that would be 8 years old now. and still running. stage 4 is going to be realeased in japan very soon.

 

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... isn't it the only cartoon about drifting? hmmmmm.

 

i saw inital d after i was out sliding in my corolla and thought that it was bad ass that a basically stock Hachi was kicking the shit out of all the other cars. just remember that its a cartoon and you should watch it as such. i.e ITS NOT REAL LIFE! good joerb.

Maybe we dont have super cool drift battles down long mountian passes. But, when we have people like DGtrials and SecretServices to set up drift events....then it becomes real life

ive always liked the cartoon, but its when people start using the lingo and thinking that they know a lot about drifting after watching it that makes my toes curl.

regardless of a cartoon, its still a 'Corolla GT-S', hathback 240's are NOT 180's, just cause u put a front end on your car doesnt make it a 'silvia', etc, etc.
