I don't know, i'm against ANYTHING anime, so to me it's just fucking stupid. I only asked because it's been referenced in here a couple of times and the "drifter kid" people seem to love it oh so much.

I first saw the Intial D series back in 2000, and then I bought it in 2001. I like the series. I like anything car related....but I don't "LIVE IT". It's a cartoon (sorry...anime'), and that's all.

BTW, I like other "normal" cartoons too, like finding Nemo, etc.... still a kid at heart I guess.

I really liked Initial D, enjoyed the series. Of course, I'm not a drifter, so I guess my response doesn't count.

I dont know alot about Initial D, but i think it's a little older then 4 years.

and for all you people who acutally like it. you're going to be in for a big surprize when it comes on Toonami this summer...i hope you regcknogize faces because they have new names.

and to top that off, an ALL NEW soundtrack...stop me if i'm wrong but wasnt the original soundtrack what made initial d big?

FUCKING AMERICANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have heard about the TOKYOPOP re-edited versions....

Animenation carries it here in Tampa, and I have seen a few on the shelves of blockbuster. I'll stick to the original version...subtitles and everything.
