I honestly dont care. I love F1 just hate the uneveness of the field. I like cart and Irl....... Screw it, If its car racing in any shape or form I'm down with it.

Here it is, plain and simple. Scott is right, drifting is not "racing" and Scott does not like drifting. Well Scott, that is the same reason that Baskin Robbins has 31 flavors. Not everyone likes the same thing. I'm not trying to be a dick, but if this isn't your thing, then leave it alone. There are plenty of other forums for you to browse on TR.

I believe drifting is a sport because it requires a lot of skill and after a longer drift session some pretty good endurance and nerves of steel 
It, however, couldn't be considered racing because of the lack of time, but it is a competition for sure.

Watching is another thing.
If it was more popular it would be on mainstrem Sunday afternoon channels with the rest of the popular motorsports but it isn't. Don't get me wrong it is fun to watch but very unevenly matched.

actually, the qualifying and everything is televised.
and yes F1 is much larger than nascar worldwide.
