According to specs I found the 675 had a shorter seat height then the R6. Your best bet is having her try on all the 600's for herself.

I have ridden just about all the 600's except the cbr600 and newer gsxr600.

i'm with you all when it comes to the gxsr.
when I was riding every day, I kept an eye out for those guys. I would avoid riding near them almost as much as I avoided mini vans.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, in a nutshell, we're looking at
05/06 07/08 zx6r
05/06 zx6rr
03-05* R6
03-06 cbr600
and maybe a daytona 600 if it turns out she fits.

any thing else?

* don't know how I feel about the whole drive by wire thing they started in 06.
Seems like a really risky thing to break. Any thoughts?

honda really lacks the speed and torque and im not impressed by the cbr's at all really

the 636 is really comfy and the power and speed are awesome on the bike but it has a little bit wider build then the other bikes, plus has that nice slipper clutch on it (dunno if the other bikes do, just going off experience when i had the 636)

the r6 is more thin and has better torque and speed the the 6rr imo

in my experience with the gsxr is they lag when you try and get on it.

so my suggestion on the bikes would be between the 636 or newer or the r6.

she is going to have to lower whatever bike she gets imo, the r6 was the thinnest so my girl liked it best. i think they are all pretty close in performance except the 636, so just go by what feels best

its funny cause "they" say the oposite about the CBR. They say that it is so light that you have to be careful with the throttle or you'll lift up.

"they" also say the cbr is a nicer/smoother ride as in the suspension gives more to bumps than a kawi does.

it is always great to see how different things are from people who have ridden versus "they"

ya ive heard all that shit too but my friend has a cbr 600rr and i ride it all the time, dont get me wrong it is lighter then the 636 and such but when getting on the interstate it just doesnt have it when i pull that throttle all the way back. the 636 handled bumps perfectly and cornered just as good as the 6rr.

also what might help her once she gets a bike is take it to a bike shop (performance one) and have her suspension set up for exactly her and how she rides. a lot of people forget to do this when they get a bike and just jump on it and ride away. when i got my suspensioned tweaked to me i could tell it felt better by like 100x's then what it was at before. it handled better in corners and just about everything that i did.

she may want to lower it now but when she gets use to 1 foot planting when stopping have her raise it back up. when i dropped my bike 1 link down and when i raised it again it was a night and day difference. it went from a Cadillac turning to a Corvet. it really took away from the suspension but it was something that i needed to get use to until i could 1 foot it. then i grew and could flat foot both feet with stock height.
