maybe not, but straightline performance is a big part of measuring a cars performance capabilities. not all, but a good amount. besides, stealthtt4me paid 6k for his car, and i gaurantee his car will out corner and out drag that porshe which is exponentially more expensive than his little stealth. not a turbo version mind you, but the regular carrera. his stealth will even hold its own against the push it in a 100-0 contest to, with the stillen brake kit he has.

 

straight line performance is just one of the MANY measurements of a car's performance. Slalom, skidpad, 100-0, road course times, etc. are all equally important....sure I can have a drag car that run's 6's....but can't execute a simple turn, what good is that? Throw the carrera and the stealth on a twisty mountain road and Oops...where did the stealth go? But since you back up your claim that the stealth would out handle a 911...I'm guessing he has some susp. mods. Let's throw another factor into the mix, RELIABILITY....you can ride the fuck out in the 911, come home turn it off, and start it back up in the morning...even if the stealth hasn't had any problems yet, I'll guarantee that it is WAY more finicky than Stuttgart's own Not trying to start somethin, I've just grown up sleepin in the sebring pit boxes during PCA events

I agree. just cause the guy was driving a Porsche doesn't mean he is even into racing. He might not even been serious about the race. Most people who buy those type of cars do it cause the have worked hard and made alot of money and want a reward for themselves.

 

ever see "Office Space?".. that's a typical porsche driver..
