For the same $6k Ill have a 680 horsepower smallblock. N/A thanks to some trick Indy heads and some other goodies. Single carb relatively mild street cam. So I guess what Im trying to say is ... fuck you and your economy race car.

And why the focus on IRS? Its not that good. A properly set up 5 link rear suspension (T/A + PHB etc) on a live axle is just as good or better any day.
As far as REAL racing goes... I dont see any MR2s (not to single anyone out really) or 2dr Civics or any Eclipses running in GT class World Challenge races. Mind you there are only a few Mustangs but thats the real fucking deal. Theres only 1 NSX even!

Is this a joke? Or do you have some screwball mechanic doing all the work for you? Ive had my car nearly 4 years. Fixed a leak in the water neck a week after I bought it and replaced 2 Discount Auto u-joints with OEM ones. Oh yeah Ive had to change the oil too.

I hate to dip into a honda/ford war but I just have to add my fuel to the fire... 
A honda s2000 comes for 32k its a 4 banger and turns out respectable times in the 1/4 mid 14s high 13s if you are good and lucky.
And its real strength isnt even in the 1/4 but rather on the track.. which for the most part isnt that big in the US so its a moot point..
