yeah, i've got the same reviews about both clutchnet and spec. no ones had any complaints about southbend, but i cant afford a stg 5 from southbend right now. I was also looking into clutchnets, but the spec stage 5 clutch is rated to 560 ft/lbs where the clutchnets go to like 450 ft/lbs. Im about in the high 3's for ft/lbs right now, and I plan on turning up the boost soon after my engine work, So the spec stg 5 really sticks out ot me right now.

Also, if anyone has any chimes about spec, please inform! I have never tried new clutches, and am only going by reviews, which is hard because you never know if the person broke the clutch in the right way, which is what leads to most problems

Is spec notorious for failure?

Could go local with Tampa Clutch Supply. Their 4 pucks are rated at 500 or 550, I forget. Apparently my last two were destroyed in all likelihood by a new manual clutch cable. I swapped in in the original (21 year old) self adjusting cable and haven't had any complaints. If you go that cheaper route make sure you try the disc on the tranny shaft, they once gave me one with a different spline count.

its a full FACE not race, its just like a stock clutch with added pedal pressure, i had the same clutch in my car works perfect for a daily, all u need is a upgraded clutch fork to keep it from bending, and ur good to go,

i had a spec stg3+ in my car for 5k before i even boosted it and it did not hold over 10 lbs,
