2mm? holy hell? how did that work out for you? i went with 1.2mm i thought that would be the best way to go.

it was on the engine when i got the car the engine was in. when i stopped reusing it i replaced it wit ha 1.2mm hks mhg. lol.

the high flow oil pump i ordered from ats came in today. im going to drop it off in the morning to the machine shop and i'll have my motor ready to pick up later that day. my ats cam gears should be here in two weeks as well. all i need now is to order my 880cc top feed injectors and send my turbo out to get rebuilt and the motor will be complete. then comes hookin up the megasquirt...

got my motor back from the machine shop today. motor looks flawless this project is comin together quite nice so far.

looking good... once you get started on the megasquirt it would be cool if you could post up some info... might give me an alternative to the nemisis... does the ms have any knock control?

ms in my opinion is a better ems then nemisis. granded nemisis and aem are going to be the easier ems to install/tune i think ms is worth it. their is always upgrades for it and you can add stuff to it whenever you want. like if you want to add a electronic boost controller you just have to buy the chip for it and sodder it on and bam! i dont know much about it right now. i havent had the time to mess with it lately and dont have the unit yet either. going to wait till i have the motor assembled.

heres one of the pics i asked sean to take for me before he put the oil pan on. i had him put the crank scraper on that i got from crank-scrapers.com for free thanks to the guy being on this site. im going to have to contact him though because sean told me it took him a good hour to get it to fit properly. some of the edges werent cut right and needed to be filed down. it wasnt just bolt on like he said it was going to be.


i know the one on the right was one he had to do. but i cant remember the exact one on the left he said he had to do. im pretty sure its the one i have marked. but still their was modification involved.

Both AEM and the Hydra Nemesis 2.5, heck even it's predecessor (SDR) >> MS.

WOT, max load tuning is a joke. The simplest of EMS's like the MS can handle it. A good EMS holds its worth in drivability, emissions, fuel economy, and every other aspect besides bragging right numbers from peak hp and torque.
