is not that bad if its already in a car and you upgrade some stuff you can get some power out of it. But for swaping it to a tercel/paseo is alot of work and bearly any gains. paseo/tercels have better angines that'll drop in the stock position with very good power gain over stock.

No, he really does say the truth. Every single time I have tried to drop my pre-judgement of any Honda 4 banger, I find out it was even worse than I thought! IMO Honda = lost hope. Now if its the 3.2, 3.5, 2.3T, etc, thats different. Otherwise, stop trying so damn hard to squeeze power out of an engine built and engineered from day one to strictly be economical and nothing more.

I see your point then. I never cared much for the A or E series or anything small like that, though I have to admit after owning a 4A-GE I was surprised and shocked at what it was and also its capabilities, not to mention the vastly different versions (20v, small port, GZE, etc.)

Guys, sorry I mean the 5EFE from a Paseo , from what I understand you can use the same trany and wire harness and ecu. Well lets talk about the 3SGTE I have 2 MR2 my self and I love the 3SGTE last track day i got me a 12.5 at 112 mph.

thats the swaP I WANTED TO DO THE 4AGE BLACKTOP SWAP BUT I WAS ON A BUGET SO I BROUGHT A HEAD FROM DIS GUY IN THE BRONX NY HE SAID IT WAS A 5EFHE BECAUSE I SAW THE INJECTORS AND THEY WERE PINK SO I HAVE IT ON MY 5EFE BLOCK 5EFHE FUEL RAIL, CAMSHAFTS, 5EFE ECU 5EFE PISTIONS AND RODS.

how do you even know if the camshafts are 5efhe??? cause they sure don't have a mark or anything that tells them apart from normal E head cam. The only way to tell is to messure them. And he could of swap the pink injectors on there.

I have owned a couple stock swap(160 horse motor) hondas that run 13's. not fast. most honda people give honas a bad rep. My thought is fast honda look slow and slow hondas look fast.
