I'm off on weekends and get off work every weekday at 4:30. On Tuesday nights I'm not available though, so it would have to be around that. It wouldn't take long to do at all with a few of us working on it. I just hope some of you guys are good with wiring cause I'm kinda scared of that part. I may talk to Chris Dittrick and see if he would be able to do the harness for me which would include extending all the wires. I know he does swap wiring for people for around $100 or so.

I'll probably see what Sean can do cause if I have to mock up the motor and trans for him to even get the mount right, once it's at the shop it's stuck there until the swap is done. I'll give him a call today or tomorrow.

I've decided to kill this project for now. Nelson, I've been trying to call you but everytime I call I get your voicemail and I've left a couple messages. Your phone might be crapping out or something but give me a call if you read this.

I need to take care of some other things first but trust me, this swap will be done. Not only will it be done, it will be done the right way. E153 LSD trans, built block, worked head, cams, EMS, the works. By this time next year it will be done.

You guys should do some more research. Their is a guy who made 628whp with a 7rib 4age block gze crank rods and pistons all arp bolts and n/a cams. Mind you this was all with stock internals. Not to mention back in the 80s f1 cars utilized 1.5 liter motor that made upwards of 1800hp. Just sayin. And if i was to build any s series motor i would use a 99 5sfe block with 2nd gen 3sgte head. 5Sfe blocks have thicker cylinder walls not to mention the extra stroke.

Ha I just logged back in here for the first time in a while and saw this thread bumped. It was memories of the celi that brought me here actually. I ended up selling the car, getting married, and having a kid. I did have a very clean 99 eclipse that I turbocharged and it was pretty quick at 16psi, but I sold that too. My income situation is much better now and I'm looking to buy another 5th gen GT/GTS and swap it. Everyone always remembers their first car and reminisces about it, I'd like to get my hands on one and do it the way I wish I could have 8 years ago.
