is this an 07 wrx if so i know what they probably did wrong on the tune. there is an extra table base on coolant temp that will make the car run at least 7 degree base timing plus whatever the kc table ask for which makes for alot of timing.

thats alot of timing being pulled no matter what

Seems to me that not enough research was done. If you would have done your research before even buying the car, i.e. taking it to get checked out (if you dont know yourself how to determine the mechanical stability of the car) in the first place maybe you would have had a better platform. Then research a shop (not saying FTM did anything wrong) dont point fingers when in reality it falls on on you. How does my car stalls sputters and smokes = i need more power and a tune? Just my two cents.

Guys am trying to make a point about the shop, this not personal, am trying help others so don't happen to them, what happen to me. He is putting stuff out there making stories about the car, before I purchace the car I took it to "mastro subaru" in may 09, and they fell in love with the car, it was check out by the mecanic there. my car was in perfect condition.
He tuned my car bad, but thats not issue, is that He did not wanted to respond any of my calls and at least take a look at the car. I had to go back and get the car tune by someone esle 3 weeks after He did it.( and is not beacause I just wanted to spend another $450.00)

Why did you bring the car to me after Scott tuned the car the first time? Because you were not happy. Seems like you are never going to be happy.

All the things you were telling me and my tech's about how S&R was "the devil" and how you were SOO happy to find another shop.

You sir, are a complainer. Plain and simple. You are my FIRST unhappy customer. I have 3 subaru's at my shop right now. My shop is not the size of S&R. I dont like to have more then 3 cars there at any time. BUT I have 3 subaru's, 2 evos, and a 350z. ALL returning customers that are very satisfied.

IF I do so much harm, I would not have a 2010 STI with 4 miles on it just delivered to my shop to make a copy cat of the 2009 STI we built with a 35R. Both cars being owned by the same gentlemen.

A 2007 WRX just like yours, on stock turbo, NOT a VF30.
This car made more power on the stock turbo tuned by the same person who tuned your car. Your car made 260 on my dyno with a VF30 with scotts tune. The tune that ran horrible as your said, blew smoke and made your AEM wideband in the car read so rich it wouldnt register. His car made 5whp more, with less mods and stock turbo. I dont understand why your tune is so bad, when everyone elses isnt.

His car is back at my shop for a full build and a rotated Billet turbo kit (custom).

Then a 2004 WRX awaiting a custom billet 57mm turbo kit. We installed a fp green in this car, and he wants more power.
Like I said, ALL returning customers.

I understand your not happy, clearly. But I want to make it CLEAR to EVERYONE that you were VERY unhappy when you first brought the car to me after leaving Scott's first tune!

And just for the record, neither Bobby nor I heard a SINGLE word that there was ANYTHING wrong with my first tune.

Everybody knows that I stand behind my work, and as long as there haven't been any parts changes, I don't charge anything to check out, or if necessary (which it hasn't been for the last few years) fix it.

One of the points that he's trying to make is that when he had problems with his car you became unreachable. I don't think I've taken longer than 20 minutes to respond to a text message during business hours in the last few years...

I do not tune Subaru's. I fly tuners in, or have them tune VIA internet access thru my connection. I told you that I do not tune Subaru's. I suppose if the map was bad I should take it up with Mike, But I dont want to take a personal blame for the Map...
I don't get it... Do you do "Inhouse tuning for Subaru" or not?

^ Just like S&R, They hire you to come tune. We have inhouse tuners we hire to tune as well. This case, Mike tuned it over the internet.

As for being "unreachable", The longest he waited was a day. As I said before, I dont sit at my computer all day answering phone calls. I run the dyno, work on cars, pick up parts, I do alot of everything at the shop.

Again, He called bobby RIGHT in front of me, at my own desk, and complained. He then asked what the car was tuned with (I.E. opesource, ecutek, and so on) so it could be RETUNED. Dont talk for Bobby, just because he didnt call you, doesnt mean he didnt complain.
