I will have to sit down and pull all my receipts and credit card bills, will do that over the weekend. Basically, will be the price for the 35R, Snow meth inj., Brian Crower stroker kit, valves, springs, retainers, cryo treatment, ACT clutch, machineshop work, disassembly and reassembly, tuning, fuel pump, etc. I would guess 10-12k? Of course, that doesn't include the stuff it already had, like cold air intake, headers, exhaust, bov, bc struts, sway bars, chassis braces, etc. Probably shouldn't write it all down; if my wife sees it she will probably kill me! I keep telling her it will all balance out when I find a buyer for the Vette.

I was hoping to get my car back soon, but new problems have cropped up. The first set of ACL mains were so tight that they couldn't even turn the engine over; the next set went in ok, the engine was assembled and ran, but wouldn't generate more than 30psi of oil pressure! They tore the engine down again and everyting looked ok except the mains were wearing oddly. Decker said they are going to use clevite bearings and a HD oil pump, but that maybe the Brian Crower billet crank is defective. Any ideas?

Check your clearances befor you assemble the motor that includes your NEW parts too. I dont car if the crank is brand new check it for out of round and make sure its true every journal, check every rod for proper vertical oil clearances NOT USING PLASIGAUGE! check every clylinder for taper and out of round along with every piston. you should do this after you get it back from the machine shop.
I have my forged sti short block completely assembled using ACL race bearings standard clearances and it takes 6ftlbs to turn the motor over I have no issues so far.

tell them you want see see what all the specs are cause a good builder rights down all their bearing clearances and keeps track so if something fails they can look back and see what could have went wrong
