ive gotten a few "L.D. you bought the wrong damn part, we will order a new one and have it here tomorrow" calls from Mike over at S&R... it sucks, but at least im notified instead of just being told that when I come to pick up the car.

I just waited for somebody else with excellent tuning experience to come down here. Enter Scott Seigel.

You should check S&R out. I never knew S & R existed till early last month, and I went to visit the shop and got the tour. And provided the tune goes well, they will be getting a lot of my business.
I still dont get why i still keep seeing tune STI makeing 270 whend my UNtune sti with cia and a ebay cat back made 270 on BVP dyno its just crazy

exactly why u need to go get a compression test asap

This is what I am trying to say. The car was tuned and obviously was making boost to put down almost 300 whp. So, at what point does the boost stop working and the car driving like shit? What is the wrong part that you were not advised about that was wrong if they hadn't yet diagnosed the problem? was the boost actually increasing with the manual boost controller or still only 3000 rpm and no boost on the dyno pulls? I;m just trying to figure out what caused the car to do that if it was making power and boost on the dyno. It sounds like maybe something throwing it into limp mode but it souncds like we will never know

Its never a good idea to rush putting parts on a car before a tunne. Doing this for year has taugh me that if you rush you will only end up in problems.

Damian I really can't beleive all the things that you're saying here dude. You're been so unfair that is hard for me to take it. You're twisting my words around and that's wrong man. I helped you in every possible way that I could and for what ? For you to come here and start bashing and talking trash about me, you really amaze me but anyway it is what it is.

First of all you brought your car to the shop to install your exhaust,DP and wastegate which we did. I didn't pik up the parts or anything , you just asked me if we could install them and I said yes, that's it. You never asked for any opinion or advice. We did what you want it, you'r right about the time and during that day I apologised to you more than 10 times cuz of your waiting and your girlfriend was there and she witness. You're saying that I didn't know about welding the wastegate and that's not true, I did said that I didn't knew that the Shop didn't had a 220 plug to conect the welding machine and I hired and electrician to make the damn conection just for giving you the service, and yes YOU'RE RIGHT THAT TOOK A LOT OF TIME but in tyhat time We offered you food , drinks , I even offered you my wife minivan for you to take your girlfriend to eat, I guess you forgot all that, but that's how people are, anyway I ended buying pizza for everybody.

After your car was done , we put it on the Dyno and the car was tune by Gadiel and make 295 WHP not 270 like you're saying, if you want I can post the graph. The car was runing perfect and you know it.

The next day your dad ,that BTW is a great guy, called me about the oil leak and I told him That I needed the car back and I (ME) actually hired a tow truck and I PAID $150 for the towing service just to find out that your car had a leak in the turbo oil line, something that hasn't had anything to do with the installation that we did. We replace the washer and the leak was fixed. Your Dad asked me how much he owed me for that job and my exacts words were that I didn't even dare to charge him for that. I told him to paid for the towing and he did. Then after that you called me again cuz of the problem with the boost, once again I told you to bring the car back to take a look at it and YES INDEED THERE WAS A PROBLEM, YOU'RE RIGHT ONCE AGAIN. I told you that the car probably was having problems with the wastegate cuz of the huge noise and that it might causing the Noc sensor to going crazy, so I decided to put on the dyno and install a manual boost controller to check the boost with gage that we lend it to you cuz you didn't even had a boost gage in that car, to see how much boost the car had. WE NEVER RAISED THE BOOST, the black smoke was cuz the car was rich. I told you that we could fix the problem but your Dad called me that same night and Told me that he wanted the car back to factory cuz you did all of that set up behind his back, I told him that we could fix the problem but he just wanted the car back to factory, so we did what he asked. We never had the chance to fix the problem and you come here saying that we did this and that to you when at first place your own dad didn't agree to do any of these mods in your car, and me for doing a simple installation caused me all this bashing from you. I always picked up you and your dad calls, ALWAYS , I never hide, I always offered myself to help you in evey possible way. ACTUALLY EVEN TODAY AFTER I KNEW ABOUT THIS THREAD AND ALL THIS THING THAT YOU WROTE, I WAS TALKING TO YOUR DAD ABOUT FINISHING THE JOB, but NOOOO BVP STILL THE BAD AND THE DISORGANISED AND THE ONEs WHO ARE SCREWING CUSTOMERS AROUND. I know that there was something wrong with your car and Im not saying otherwise , but you never gave me the chance to finish the job and I did what your father asked, putting the car back to factory.

I'm really sorry that this happened and I'm not saying that we (BVP) are perfect, YES we make mistakes and YES sometimes SHIT happens but I'm always there for my customers, ME NOT MY EMPLOYEES..and if we make a mistake we don't stop until we finish the job no matter what it takes and everybody who knows me can tell you that. If you still need my help you know where to find me.

Victor

Damian, I'm REALLY sorry to hear this... I don't trust ANYONE to work on my cars unless I'm standing with them under the lift, and even then I'm uncomfortable.

I'm PMing you a link that you should visit to file a consumer complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services ( doacs.state.fl.us ). In that way, the best possible resolution will come of this situation for everyone.

I've worked on your car very recently and I know how it ran. I also know that no fluids leaked and it pulled exactly how it should have.

If you decide that you want to put the mods back on, call me and I'll help you out.

Keep us posted...

EDIT:

How was the internal wastegate welded without the turbo coming off? It seems most likely that the oil leak was created because somebody manhandled the feed line, neglected to re-install the gasket/washer, or did not tighten it down properly after turbo re-install.

BTW, not pointing fingers here... This is still between Damian and BVP. Hoping for an amicable resolution, as I know that Victor is a good guy. Just trying to clarify.

he got a new dp put on the iwg weld isnt like a huge weld so you have plenty of room to do it while the turbo is still mounted
