i didnt bash them. i said i dont send anyone their way, but at the same time i havent heard anything bad. they just arent my shop preference

and if you had come to the sti&evo meet a few weeks back at s&r they addressed all previous issues and problems with customers

I am still confused because something definitely seems to be missing from this story. It sounds like they were trying to help you by towing the car and attemting to fix the issues. Did you give them the full oppurtunity to fix the problem before putting it to stock? Was the internal WG welded shut? Were these parts used? etc. Has Victor been in contact with you and your dad?

well i still agree with chuck because they did put my car back on the dyno and turn UP the boost and ran the car VERY hard. and my motor was smoking alot with black smoke shooting from the exhaust exhaust as well. which id assume is normal from an exhaust with a catless downpipe

White smoke is when you should worry..........your car would be pouring black smoke if it was not making boost because it would be Super rich.

why? sounds like something mechanical not tuning. Sounds like the wastgate spring may be incorrect or the install was fubared

nothings missing. if anything is missing i wasnt informed of it. it seems like BVP was hiding alot from me. i could tell just by facial expression the hours i spent there. but that doesnt justify anything, just my opinion and what i think on the situation. victor did tow the car back to orlando and did fix the oil leak for an additional cost. however they had no idea why the car wasnt hitting boost. he said bring the car back 2mro. my ultimate decision was just put the car back to stock because my bank account is currently negative with a maxed credit card because i couldnt afford the gas to drive out there anymore. or the risk of doing further damage to the car for driving 87 miles one way without the problem being officially known. victor also threw out the comment to my dad hes not "going to baby sit me" that if i bought the wrong parts, its not his fault. all he does is just installation. like i mentioned before, im not a mechanic, i figured if i did have the incorrect parts from what ive been told, i would of been notified by a reputable mechanic, such as all the techs from BVP. thats not "baby sitting" that actually offends me.

If they were the wrong parts why would a reputable shop install them knowing the car was getting tuned by Gadiel?

When I got tuned by gadiel in May, I was unhappy with the tune. After logging, the car knocked worst than it did with the cobb ots map. And it only made like 270hp. Not to mention I also had a CEL, which was due to not having cats(which in my opinion is tuning 101). So I just flashed back to the ots map, and took the $400 loss.

I just waited for somebody else with excellent tuning experience to come down here. Enter Scott Seigel.

You should check S&R out. I never knew S & R existed till early last month, and I went to visit the shop and got the tour. And provided the tune goes well, they will be getting a lot of my business.
