wow i should have waited another month and got the 07. do you think its owrth it to get the 07 2,3,4 gears since theyre not as short as previous years?
2007 STi 6 speed manual, 1st: 3.636, 2nd: 2.235, 3rd: 1.521, 4th:1.137, 5th:0.971, 6th: 0.756, final 3.9, reverse: 3.545
with 225/45/R17 tires, you get something like this:

i would say no if you plan on upgrading the turbo. cause lets say you go with a fpgreen you have to shift into 5th still in order to trap higher 114mph.

to me the 07 is great if you plan on staying with the stock turbo. it's definitly improved to hit 11s with a good enough driver.

I would but I just don't think I will have the funds to do it this time around. Plus I already went through enough importing my GTP over here a few years ago and it was a nightmare trying to get it to spec in order to register (too heavily modded). Honestly I'm not ready financially to put myself through that headache a second time so soon. I'll be back over here in around 4 years I think so hopefully I can save enough to get a 34, keep it stock and then bring it back over.

i know the Evo's 9s tuning are an unbelievable difference and much easier to make quick than Sti's. Subaru's are much more reliable than Mitsubishi, safer as well... and overall id take an Sti over Evo because Evo's sound like shit.. i love the rumblin of my Suby!!
