i was the first to go on wednesday. everything started out good but then it went bad later on. i have TMC (terminal mechanical creep) but he paid alot of attention to the car. and it def pulls harder i just need to find someway to get it to stop creeping and then scott can work his magic again. i was thinking about going to a different exhaust without a divider in the dp. but other then that all gears pull alot harder a little to harder at 5000 rpms but i will get that fix. i really hate boost creep i hate it with a pasion.

 

back in april, my tune lasted 7-7.5 hrs. the reason behind the time is that my first tune was really bad when i did it in november. btw, my tune was done by doug (topspeed) in november. scott was not impressed with the map doug made me. so, he had to create a new map and tune the avcr. but, it was totally worth it.

 

I want to get tuned by SS, but I have the Cobb AP. If he tunes me, won't that render the AP useless? I just don't want to basically throw away $645.

 

He tunes on the AP you just get another new map he adds.

If you you dont have 1/4 times the best thing SS told me to do is to time how long it takes for you to go from 60 to 80mph. then check the diff.

 

Faded: yes I did get the avcr but the one I got will not "learn" for some reason. so I have to buy another one and tune again. I dont know if I will have the green next go around though =)

 

Ok, so when I plug in the AP, it'll show economy, stage 1, stage 2, and then I'll have another map on there that he adds? So If I need to, I can still put it back to stock and then change it back to scott's map?

 

correct. you will have all the maps that originally came with the AP but then Scott will add the new map that is tuned for your specific application.

I have the AP as well.
