Missing nut hints at the possibility that it had an aftermarket turbo and/or headers.

Well I know I'm at least the second owner. James mentioned another person, so I may actually be the third owner. When James was looking to buy the car they said it had been EcuTek'd. After I bought it Gene said he had an Accessport on it. So in other words, no one really knows...

Highly doubt it's covered....it has almost 47,000 miles. Anyone know how long the powertrain warranty is?

Its very possible that they didnt unmarry the AP. How long have you had the car, reason being that the EcuTEK flash (IIRC) didnt come out until like summer '04. You may also try contacting EcuTEK and see if your VIN# is one that they have in their DB. I'm pretty sure they need your VIN# in order to do a flash.

I know it wouldn't make it run rich, lol.... I meant the bolt is missing probaby because a previous owner had the turbo and/or uppipe off. But why?

The first plug is back passenger by the uppipe.

I've had the car for about 3 1/2 months.

.
Possibly to have the turbo ported to eliminate boost creep since you do have a TBE.
