do you have to tune the car to run this? i know you put it on the downpipe, how far down from the bellmouth do i put the e-cut?

 

No, I didn't tune for it. I suppose you could for even better results but then you'd be effecting the performance when the cutout is closed, so it's a toss-up. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it.

I placed mine in the down pipe just before it curves under the firewall and angled straight down towards the ground. But, anywhere in the exhaust that has a straight section as long as the y-pipe that will be welded in will work.

 

know any good places to get it installed?

 

I took mine to Coastal. TJ did a great job welding the y-pipe in and I stole a switch blank from Sam's car after he got a little to happy with the Dremel trying to make the switch fit.

 

Not sure on the price of install but the easiest thing to do would be to put the y-pipe in place of the cat in your downpipe.
