Running like crap at WOT - please HELP!!!!

Default Running like crap at WOT - please HELP!!!!

Just finished the H22A Accord swap. Been running for 3 weeks now and when driving normal, its great,but at WOT, the motor hesistates n bucks like crazy especially when Vtec kicks in. This happens only in 2nd and 3rd before and after Vtec engages.

No CEL.. idles fine. new plugs,wires,caps,fuel filter, etc, etc.. full major tune up. Running 92 octane. I/H/E cam gears(+2,-2)flywheel/clutch.

What could it be? Am I running lean or something? When we dyno it after the swap was done,183 hp/151 tq, right before Vtec, the power just fell flat on its face and jumped right back up at Vtec. This explaines the harsh yank/buck right before Vtec kicks in. I still don't see why its bucking or hesistating through out the power band.

It goes something like this:

1st gear - 1k ------5k------7.8 ->smooth
2nd 4k ----..5k-.-.-.----7.8 ->harsh/hesistation
3rd almost the same as 2nd gear.

sounds to me allmost like it's lean, but for it only happening in 2nd and 3rd??? i'm stumped , try raising the fuel pressure.

Bad Gas? Have you always been using the same gas station? Switch and see how it goes... Drain the tank. Put 5 fresh gallons in, and run it for a bot smoothly on the highway...

Default Still can't figgure it out

I'm running the P13 with no CEL so I don't think its detonating. Gas - well I tried a booster and run 92 octane from shells,race track, 7-11. I don't see that being the problem. I think its getting mad air and its chocking at WOT. I don't have an adjustable FPR so I tried unplugging the vacume hose off the stock FPR and cap it. I figgure unplugging it will raise the pressure up a bit. Still ran the same. SUCKS!!!

My guess is something ignition related. Not detonation. Could be a ICM thats on it's way out, or a bad ground. You'd be surprised how simple little problems like these can make drivability hell. We'll have a looksie at it soon buddy
