Anybody that wants to make the transformation from a ROM tune to AEM I will be offering $100 Tune's not $600 but you must have proof that you had a Rom tune running in your car! everybody needs to have the experience its like night and day ! Misleading information leads to clueless people ... Staying with a Rom tune would be like Voting for Obama again! ASK MARTIN WHY DON'T PRO CARS RUN ROM TUNES ?!?! THEN ASK HIM WHAT PRO CARS HE TUNED ON ... I'm out i don't have time for this BS!

glen youn are full of your self you dont need to act like you know it all because you dont matter of fact no one does yes we all know aem is a good product and that most aem tuners are not as good as you BUT for nissans you would have to be a complete dumbass to waste your hard earned money on aem when you can get a rom tune that is just as good if not better for a fraction of the cost i have only had rom tunes on my car so i can not compare but i also have no reason to want to switch my sr is making over 350 wheel hp on a stock motor for over 40 thousand verry hard miles with absolutely not one issue now on the other hand i have atleast 10 friends mostly dsm owners that are running or have left aem all of wich have complained about their aem i personally know of no rom tune owners with ANY complaints

I'm not backing martin up or i wouldn't listen to anything glenn says hence he's notorious for screwing people over badly especially he's customers!!!

Thanks, Frankie P, for clearing up more misinformation being spread on the internet by a fairly novice TR nutswinger, that is making himself look ignorant because he can't read properly. ****I HAVE NEVER HAD JAP TUNE ANY OF MY VEHICLES**** Chris(z350man), if i can remember his name correctly, had more than I could handle from a dig that night but, I consistently pulled him from a roll. Even though, I was running 93oct and he was clearly running 100oct(cant mistake the smell of real gas). Frankie P can be clearly be seen in the posted dyno vid. He would be the large, bald, puerto rican standing just outside the driver side door during 3rd gear dyno pulls. I have tuned multiple of his boosted vehicles on everything from crome pro to hondata s300, since '04-'05.

Do you have proof of said gains? A simple dyno comparison would work nicely in this regard.
Here is a link to my personal AEM retune dyno session.

Pete's SR20 240sx - Car Videos on StreetFire

This is a BS thrown together JE 86mm 9:1 pistons/crower pro billet rods/hks 272 s2/greddy single VS/crower retainers/quickie casting cleanup ported head/eBay IM/stock TB/the smallest xs power fmic available/msd style 72# injectors/ssauto ex manifold/ITS 60-1 .60ar compressor, P-Trim t4 turbine(.58 on center) SR20 with super loose piston-wall and huge ring gap(massive blowby seen in the video backs up these facts)

This engine was thrown together on a whim with all used parts that were laying around my garage collecting dust.

She made 391whp/313wtq @ ~18-20psi with a z32 MAF & daughter board red top ecu setup. Tuning was accomplished using tunerpro rt with my own personal XDF file and started out life as a stock red top base map. With this tune the car was quick, idled smoothly, and had good drive-ability. Although, she still had some accel tip-in and decel a/f issues. This caused the cars gas mileage to be in the 15-20 mpg area. Granted, she was then "tuned" and safe to drive, but no where near running at her full potential. After an AEM EMS re-tune, the car made 455whp and 332wtq @ a consistent 20.1psi. This was acheived with only 6-7 dyno pulls. There was more to be had since every time I did some changes and re-ran her she consistently gained HP & TQ. The dyno area temps were also well above 115* that particular day. The car also averaged 25-30mpg around town if I wasn't spinning through 3rd everywhere I went. This is also while running the factory CAS trigger disc, NOT the AEM CAS trigger disc. I have never really had any issues with the factory CAS pickup disc while running an AEM.

I also want to make it absolutely clear, I DO NOT WORK FOR OR WITH GLEN. I JUST FEEL THE SAME WAY AS HE DOES WHEN IT COMES TO ROM TUNES AND MAF sensors

Good call clearing that up, lol.

As for the results of your dyno testing, I thank you. So what I see, and correct me if I am wrong, is that ROM tunes make sufficient, safe and stable moderate power for under $500. But for an additional $1200-$1500 you can make an additional 64hp and 19 torques? While in the "pro" game this might sound like a good idea for a competitive edge, in the real world modifying a stock ECU that requires minimal invasive modifications in order to make a significant gain is a much better plan for your car and your wallet.

I am not knocking stand alone tuning or your ability to make the power gains that you claim, and I don't think anyone was doing that. Mostly we are commenting on Glen and his outrageous, over the top claims. If ROM tuning was so dangerous and unstable, how come we have so many happy customers and so much repeat business?

Ummm yes i remember it like it was yesterday It was a hilarious hype of the huge shit talking going on at brotherz racing about you coming out whipping up on the 240's. What happen? Well me and 10 other people that night saw Z350man murked you from a dig and roll numerous times and saw jap tuning after each run while making up excuses, Then had jap claiming the car was on race gas and blah blah if only someone would have recorded that whole night!!!!!

Ok, so I just wrote a long reply and it fucking vanished... here are the highlights

1. I fucking beat the shit out of Pete (juiced2ndgenteg) JAP tuned AEM 240 WITH A BIGGER TURBO I MIGHT ADD.
2. I did not run race gas, ask JAP he rode with me and saw 20psi instead of the 28psi the really would of wrecked said defeated car and drivers day.
3. Martin good tuner, ROM tune great driveability, good power I made 538whp (vid comng.. again)
4. Martin been around for a long time, there is a reason for that.
5. Glenn not bad, maybe a little over zeaulous
6. Pete (juiced2ndgenteg) if you need to be reminded you know how to get ahold of me.. My first call will be Martin to put my car in KILL mode to shut this 3 year old shit to rest. fuck im tired and cranky
7. Glenn you have pm... ie SIG related.
