alright so to keep myself occupied i started on my valve cover.

started by shaving the raised "DOHC VTEC" and the raised bolt holes.


i stripped it down and put some JB weld to smooth a part out and fill the 2 bolt holes.


after the JB Weld was sanded and the VC was washed.


sanded off the H and honda writting on the wire cover


taped off


primed..


base and clear..



the design for the painting going over the top of the white base is in the works

got my lug nuts, new face plate (lost my old one), and i believe my toe rods arrived today.
ill post pics later..

all i have left to spend money on is oem front and rear rotors, the last payment on my powder coating, and my alignment once i get the car back!

Just read the whole thread, and I must say im not a fan of 'ludes, but your build is awesome! I really like what you have done!

 

I can't wait to see what you do with that valve cover.

got the basic graffiti design for the VC done thanks to a tagger friend of mine. im going to be adding my own touches and start putting painting it tonight!

yea man i still have your number! we will have to get together for a shoot when i get it back too!

my straight pipe already has a spot for the wide band so i will probably get it shortly after i get the car back. so i will definitely need your help.

im still waiting for josh to finish powder coating my wheels so i can put them back together and get the tires mounted. i can wait.
