hopefully when i go to the shop today i will see most of the car prepped and primed for paint. im dropping off the front window trim, motor mounts, driverside block mount, and new steering rack boots today. i was told that the car should be painted by this weekend, then it needs 3 days to fully cure, then 2-3 days to have the motor in and running with all the parts bolted on, then the body panels and trim go back on, then wetsand and buff, then wax and detail and i can pick her up. they say 2-3 weeks tops is what we are shooting for.

Wheels look great, sadly the Volks I got ended up being the wrong lug patten so I had to send them back, huge bummer.

 

that sucks. you couldve had them re drilled. just keep checking online for some good deals on wheels.

alright so here are the updates from the shop today when i dropped off the last of the parts:

door are about 90% ready for paint... dents and scratches removed and a few coats of primer are on.


rear bumper is almost there too.


trunk and spoiler are prepped. just needing final sanding.


rear quarter panels and roof are next in line


but here is a preview of the rolled rear quarters


carbon hood is ready for final sand before paint.


everything has been stripped.

I just went thru the 12 pages and all I gotta say is WAO!! this is a sick build man!!! those wheels came out ****in nice bro!!!! Lovin the color!!!

I'm goin thru the same process with my car too (Ej1) and I give props to you man!!!!
