IIRC .25 is the gap you want to target for KAT,i may be wrong but like i said, iirc. Too wide of gap w/too much boost may cause blow out which could be causing your break up.

Try this if boost leak turns out A-OK.

.36 is the right gapage, but regardless off the matter, my previous plugs were gapped at the same for right at a year and I never had an issue w/ them. I'm gonna make a trip to Home Depot here in a few and McGyver some shit for a boost leak check.

I was just over in that area 2 hours ago. Too late though, I already bought a few knickknacks for my tester...hopefully they work out. If not, oops!

Vacuum/boost leak is the culprit. The gasket in between the plenum and the runners had a blow out. Hopefully that's the only leak. I'll double check again after the gasket has had time to make itself at home. I did a compression of 14psi and after I took off the air hose off, it dropped down to 0psi in a matter of seconds. My rigged up end cap blew off at one point of time and I swear to God, a confettied $50 bill blew out. I was appalled and couldn't believe it!
