Doubt that you'll be able to feel the difference, maybe, i figure they are all close enough in price, i may as well get whats reguarded as the best since its not much of a price diff.
yeah, i need to change the oil this week, and ill look and see if theyre the same.
and, funny story.
i had megans on order at enjuku for my car a long time ago, but when mattback was putting together boxmods hatch, he had jic's. i looked at both right next to each other, decided the megans sucked, and cancelled my order.

Just do matching rears.

Soft springs + Big bars is awesome for the street.

I've already had my car sliding around the last few days and its soooo nice because its compliant and doenst bounce over every bump in the road. Feels more controlled.

6k/4.5k on KTS coil-overs with the damping turned all the way down, progress front bar set in the middle and stock rear bar with ES bushings. Might go up 2 clicks damping in the front just cause.

Tim, Ride quality is all in the dampers. My FLT-A1's had meh ride with a 7k/5k setup. My 8611 setup had 8/6 springs. With the dampers on min, it seriously rode like a Cadillac. Ok, an Altima. Having fully adjustable compression and rebound teaches you a lot about what effects things. The "junk" coilovers have WAY too much compression damping, and that's not adjustable. The rebound is the adjustment, and it's just for turn-in and steering response.

Only thing cool about the EDFC is the cool little gadget factor it has about it. After that its pretty pointless.

And never really DD'd it, sold it pretty quick. But I dont see how it would affect reliability its just little motors screwed on top of the coils.

i think his main idea for this thread was to make fun of fanboys that wanna slam their car as low as they can with their mexi-poke wheels.

that edfc shit is gay.
like, aids gay.
if youre too lazy to get out of the car, then you should be in a wheelchair.

also, ive adjusted my damping maybe 3 times this year.
and i know the stiffness is mostly the damping, but eh, fuck it, ill give the springs a shot.

Nah, just put the discussion out there so some of the kids that might buy junk, may possibly end up with something actually useful.

Damnit Epstein, now you've got me considering ordering the 8611's instead of the 10's, was all content going "noo, im not building a racecar, just a nice DD" and you got to go mentioning how well the 8611's rode.

Dan: I was planning on doing 7/5 on the springs, though im still open to suggestions.

Tim if you want to try out same spring rate all around, let me know i've got a pair of bilstein 5ks, and im pretty sure they're 60mm.
