Loose timing gear that is out of spec can cause your mechanical timing to skip teeth, most the time under load.
READ THIS:
MECHANICAL TIMING HAS TO BE PERFECT LOWER AND UPPER.
If your mechanical timing is not set to spec. All you are really doing is being fucking retarded and playing with your motor and possibly damaging it.
Stop being lazy. Stop asking questions. We have told you wtf to do. Now go do it. Set designated links on timing dots (mechanical) install cams correctly. Seal covers. Then set ignition timing. Once your done with that see how it runs. Then go from there.

Also check your Fuel pressure. I know you said you looked at the sock/pump w.e check the pressure.
Check voltage at injectors. Put your ECU in another SR car and see if they have any problems. Do not place a working ecu in yours, you may fry it.
Also make sure you have the correct firing order on your spark plugs.
Ignition timing must me set at TDC on cylinder one. Make sure you are tdc cyl 1 exhaust stroke also.

ill check fi voltage, probly tonight sometime. and my ecu is a type x, so i dont know how im gonna find anyone with a type x harness sr...
