im just gonna get another post before mods realize this is WAY of track, and that there was never any question about a motor not produced by nissan being put in a chassis that wasn't produced by nissan, and locks it.

I wasnt arguing with you, just providing a ballpark range so he'd have something to go on, the other half was just points that he likely didnt know, and contribute to a worthwhile swap.
I think the mods can handle a logical discussion about engine selection, especially if they can tolerate the crap spewed from paul kerseys keyboard.

for the money u have just look for a complete engine from japan here is a number 1-800-270-5712 ask for sam he can get u any engine as long as it jdm also Osaka JDM Motors - North Americain Largest Supplier of JDM Motors & Clips so u can see some prices on rotary and other engines. i had a 3rd gen rx7 and they run great as long as u take care of them but if u go with something else just make u go jdm its an import thing. remember if u do go with something else it will cost$$$$$$$$$$$$ so just go as deep as ur pocket will take u
