We were actually going to do a KA into my old FC, simply for the fact itd be alot cheaper plus wed already have the mounts and drive shaft made and when we had the $ we could just swap an SR right in later. We ended up just doing another 13b though

Even without having a good bit of experience with them, an LT1/T56 setup can be had for $1500, without much trouble at all, a cam swap and a little effort in tuning you are at 360 RWHP, with less spent than a SR install with intake, exhaust, fmic.

To add to this you've also got a bigger clutch that is going to hold more power at the same clamp load so you are ahead there, you now have a 140A alternator stock compared to what ? 80A ?, you also have a T56 that is going to actually take more abuse than you can possibly throw at it. There are many more reasons the LT1 is a better choice than the SR, or KA.

you will be making completely custom motor mounts to do a KA, a custom driveshaft, custom wiring harness, IDK WTF you will do about the radiator since the rx7 one mounts so weird, probably wil have to run a rx7 rad. with custom hoses, custom exhaust/downpipe ETC ETC ETC. Sounds like you dont know to much about it so I wouldnt attempt it.

So your SR is great ? And not a piece of shit ?

SR 205 HP/203 TQ

Stock LT1
300 HP/340 TQ

Stock KA24DE
155 HP
160 FT lbs

LT1 at 95 HP and 137 FT lbs more than the SR
And 145 HP, 180 Ft LBs over the KA24DE

Yup, you are right, complete waste of time.
i dont drag race, or hang out at dyno days compensating for a tiny penis, so i dont really give a shit about any of that garbage.
