VG30DE is heavy go with the VQ35 with 6 speed, you will be a lot happier.

ill sell you a vq35de auto , you can reseell the auto tranny for 800 on ebay. but I need 2500 out of the swap.

comes w. wiringetc and a pulley set

LT1/T56, cost you similar to doing a SR properly.

LT1 300HP/340TQ
SR 205HP/203TQ

Alternator: 140A LT1 vs 80A SR

Trans: T56 much stronger, and an extra overdrive.

But you wont do it, nobody around here does what makes sense.

^ whats the reliability of LT1s? i always hear people bitching about optispark. as for OP. if you want NA...go with a VH45 swap, can be done for relatively cheap

To OP: You were doing very well at desoto with a KA.
Bail on the idea of VG in s13. I agree with VQ in S13. fucking great.
It was a shame you couldnt meet Charlie, he had a VH45 in his s13 hatchback.. Pretty damn awesome.
