gear shifting problem
ok...you have 2 like the z. It is very important to do them in order. start at the trans and then do the one under the hood. When I changed my slave a few weeks ago it literally took my like 5 or 6 times to get it sufficiently bled.
What and where is this "box thingy" you speak of?

it's under the car like a foot away from the slave. it's for a soft clutch feel.
the hard line from the master goes straight to the box the the soft line for the slave comes off that. they do go bad from what i hear. we bleed the slave the the box back to the slave repeat untill works good lol

so there is not a bleed screw up on the fender well under the hood?

ahhh...yeah, that's an understatement! I still go back to either 1. it's not fully bled or 2. the pedal itself may need adjustment

yes...if you read the FSM or any manual you are supposed to have a certain amount of fre play to allow for variations in the clutch material and fluid as it heats up. It would surprise you how many people forget to check the pedal after changing the clutch/slave/master cylinder as all of these have an affect on the pedal. I had my clutch professionally installed and they didn't check the pedal. As the clutch would heat up it would get harder and harder to put into gear as the pedal travel was not enough to completely disengage the clutch. Found a procedure on TT.net to fix it and it's been perfect ever since!

He deleted the loop so there is only one Bleed valve now. Try 75-90. If your problem doesnt go away after you drive it around and get the car warmed up then it might be time for a new gearbox.
the system is bled all the way. bled that b$#%* for at least 2 hrs or so. at first i could hear the clutch engaging allowing me to shift. but soon after, when i would push the clutch i could still hear the tranny rotating and not allowing me to shift into any gear.
i've adjust the pedal several times and nothing there seems to fix anything.

if it worked well right after bleeding then it sounds like you may have a fluid or air leak somewhere in the system.
