lightly modded SR's are a lot of fun if you're coming from a stock ka.

^ yes you were right about the video and no i didnt say anything about the processes and trouble that guy had to go through to get where that was. when i had my first 240 i tried to put a little more life in it by doing the ka-e pistons and s14 cam swap and intake mani and header with light tuning, then i got a sr and i havent looked back. my ka wasnt near 200, it was fun but the stock sr is funner hands down.

i can assure you no one has done it. im not saying its more practical compared to other power gainers but it hasnt been done and it can be done within your budget.

Put rotary pistons in it, you'll get the compression ratio you require.

you may be right but if i can remember correctly the s14 ex. cam has a longer duration so the top end in the s13 was better. i had it in there for highway use and going to VIR! lol it was fun while it lasted.

I have a spare S14 exhuast cam and I'll be doing the same thing, I just thought they were the weakest of the bunch. I wish I had kept my 91 KA cams.

Did you notice any appreciable difference when you did that?
