Exclamation high compression build KA24DE?????

So i finally figured out what kind of build i would like to build for my (KA)Ok well im going to be rebuilding my 96(ka) but im going a little different way. im want to build it high compression. iv'e been doing some research and i keep finding people using ka24e pistons and it's bringing them to like 11:5:1 or somthing in that area. well i want reliability so i want a forged bottom end. but all i can find is wiseco 10:5:1 pistons. my power goals im looking for is around 220ish. i was just wondering if you knew anything about high comp builds for this. and it's going to be my DD so needs to be ran off of 93 oct. im getting minor head work/stage2 cams/maybe bigger injectors if needed/one of the biggest thing would be a tune..

what do you guys think and lmk what you know please...thanks

you're not getting 220 all motor out of a ka on 93 octane. plain and simple.

the video he is referring to goes something like this

BC v3's
aem ems
one off header
custom itb setup
100octane
10.5/1
head work and many other things, like HOURS of tune time.

and all this yielded 207hp.

for the $6000 or so he spent on this build you could go SR with decent mods and other shit, susp etc.

Well, derek called me up last week to let me know he's around 230-240 at this point. He said there's a possibility he'll break 300 this year.

well for the cash you're gonna spend on a "high comp" KA, you could throw together T-28 ka setup with simple supporting mods and hit 230 wheel with ease, WITH 93 octane. you also mentioned going forged, drop that compression down to 7.5/1 or so, add cometic/arp, GT3082R or the like and some REALLY good tuning/fuel/spark and shoot for 400 wheel. worry about trannys later.

im just saying, with v2's, 93 octane and a rom tune/piggyback you be lucky to see 160 wheel, doesnt matter how manly your bottom end is.
from what i've seen all motor KA's REALLY love super expensive intake setups and 100+ octane, a quality standalone doesnt hurt either.
