You're correct about the idle issues but that is it. Once again, I've had personal driving experience with a solid roller and what you're saying is old speak from the 70's. It's about as current as mentioning you've got a 3/4 cam.

3/4 cam refers to a camshaft that is 3/4ths of a race cam. It's getterdun speak really. Just like "pink" rods and whatnot.

Got in the SPEC Clutch for the 400 inch SBC. It consists of a steel spec pressure plate, sprung 6 puck clutch, aluminum flywheel, and all bearings and bolts. Total weight of the package is 36 pounds which isn't that bad. This clutch will handle 650 foot pounds of torque, which will be perfect. Also since we have a sprung hub, the chatter won't be that bad.
