full on track cars can take a lot more liberties with shit than a street car. bell bottom kits and crazy wheel fitment look cool sliding on a track, but when i want to drive to taco bus, im going to ruin all of that shit. so it just doesnt work for me. function over fashion.

Calculated my brake bias with the new Q45 setup. Not looking good. Something like 80.X% if we're using the common calcs. Looking up rear upgrades using the stock rear caliper. There's a trick using Q45 rear disks with stock calipers, Z31 mounts, and a million washers. I don't like the looks of that. Going to fab my own solution with stock components, a DIY bracket, and 03 Altima disks (292mm, less hat height than Q45). This quick fix should bring my bias to 75% front, which will be nice. Also, this will bring a Z32 front setup to around 70%, which will be a sweet track setup I think. Stand by for awesomeness in the coming weeks.
I got my intake manifold gaskets replaced today and I installed the Power steering system. I'm just waiting on a p/s cooler to arrive and finish that up. Then I can install the radiator again and get back to motor break in.
Just need to paint the core support, wrap some harness stuff up, bleed brakes and clutch and a few other misc things and the car is ready for a test drive.
The way I read it was that the Altima rotors were needed so they don't hit the swaybar mount. And that they're only 2mm different than mile-o-washers Q45 rotor setup. Going to LKQ tomorrow to check it out.
Suck it up man! I want to see this thing run already!~
Z31 bracket with 03 altima rotors is a perfect fit on S14's (no washers). There was a right up on FA in the basic tech area. I've been meaning to do this for a while just havent gone to the junk yard.
