No, it would just oxidize under the clear. A clear anodization is really the way to go.

Used my inner geek to setup a consult system that runs on a laptop that I threw together at work... if anyone has a copy of Nistune I can "Borrow" I would be very very happy... Using some open source Vbasic program right now that is pretty good.

test drove a 91 300zx, auto, interior is pretty rough, has a miss at idle then goes away. 177K miles.front bumper damage, and little fender damage. he wants $2k for it..@ bobs car care in Inverness..Heads up for the people around Inverness..

just picked up oldschool SPL toe rods.

I might be getting tension rods, traction rods, rear upper arms.

sometime this week. hopefully.
