No, moved out there, couple months later find out my step dad is beating my mom and they are getting a divorce.

Family comes first, so I'm back to help out, and figured I'll stay here.

i work on it here and there when im not busy, but ive got a good 20 hours in just that. and its not done.

they wont be perfect, the forging is kinda shitty since nissan just painted them there was no reason for perfection, but theyll look good moving and from the distance of an average persons height away haha.

since aircraft stripper didnt work, i used my hands. used a not very coarse wire wheel on a die grinder until most was gone, then hand sanded.
started with 220, then 320, then 400, then 600 then 800, then a buffing wheel.

need to find something to get in the corners with, no idea what. might go by harbor freight for ideas maybe.
