Hey longfellow, was your car loaded down with 100's of pounds of crap in the rear? Toe/camber changes related to that plus hundreds of miles could be the issue. At least in the rear.

I run a retarded amount of camber in the rear of my car, with a welded diff, and I can make my tires last a really long time, with lots of burnouts behind work, sliding all the time, and driving like a complete asshole. But I really don't care about tire wear, seeing as I get free tires.

Well, at least until I get my new wheels, which isn't exactly a common size.

KTS are $1030 shipped, I would say just save the extra hundred, I had some one ride in my car that ran megans and said mine felt alot nicer and less bouncy. Also if anything breaks and its not covered under the warrenty, you can buy individual parts from SPL or you can buy just a single coil-over for 250$ if it gets totally fucked. Over all I think they are the best deal out there.

Z32 wheel in the trunk and a duffle bag. So like 50lbs and no one else in the car with me. I was worried about too much weight in the car for the trip so I stuck everything in other family members cars.

Thats why I think Highway driving is what is killing them, I drove to tampa last night, and the tires seemed to have gotten pretty warm. They should last a few months now that Im back to only driving like 5 miles a day. When I was up in georgia I was driving like 50ish miles a day. It was over 20 miles just to get to the nearest town.

Sure thing, I just now started running them on full soft and its even better. I used to run them on 5clicks forward and it was a little harsh but now it soaks up bumps pretty well and its still not bouncy.

then cut your stock springs. that shits free !

also, i dont think everyone realizes, treadwear rating only applies to that tire manufactuer. like, a 220 bridgestone, and a 220 falken cant be compared against each other. only a 220 bridgestone, and a 440 bridgestone.

all it means is that if you have a 100 treadwear tire of one manufacturer, its going to last half as long as a 200 treadwear from the same company.
