just got done with some shit, firing one up as i type....

went to HD, got that board that is under the carpet in the trunk... going to make a stencil and widen it out to cover more of the floor... it'll be nice to have a nice flat trunk deck...

i should have enough to make one more larger version with the matierial i have left, anyone want's me to make em one, shoot me 15 doll hairs and we're good.

mounted 4 drift spares today, going to get another 4 SE wheels tomorrow, gives me a total of 4 set's of drift spares for bronson on saturday.

can't wait for these parts to roll in...

^I need to do that shit too. I made one for my Eclipse from half inch MDF and it came out real nice. Im sure the cardboard in this convertible I just grabbed will either be missing or rotted to hell...lol

i was thinking about the MDF, but i thought it would be too thick.... i wanted to use the same matieral as OEM, just make it wider to cover the metal area behind the wheel well, unlike the OEM one that just barely covers the spare tire well... the little things count to me, i dunno.

MDF is heavy as fuck and absorbs a shit ton of moisture, the backing board works just fine and holds plenty of weight.

Yes it does weigh about 10lbs...but I never have to worry about my bigass floor jack/subs/amps caving in that cardboard junk. I dont always have a spare tire haha.
