When has he come up with a good idea ?

The last time he had a good idea, was when he got that white hatch, that was so-freshn-soclean for a stocker, then he got rid of it, and it was all downhill from there.

Or he could have asked around and just borrowed the tool from someone else who's already bought it.

lol. that too. I think the c-clamp may actually be easier to use than most purpose made tools though. cause you dont have to attach it to anything...haha

I bought

c-clamp $7
pads for clamp $2
socket $10

put pads on clamp so it doesnt mess your valves...duct tape the socket to the spinny part of the clamp, compress, and grab retainers with angled needle nose.

I dontthinkso,

C clamp you've gotta sit there and move it from spring to spring, each one individually, the right tool, bolt down two endplates, slip the bar in, and run along each one down the line.

I guess I was just thinking of the extra step of bolting the plates. haha.

David: I think the point they are trying to make is that its just a waste of time to fuck with that stuff. Its not going to hurt you in anyway. Might as well do something productive instead of tear something up for no good reason.

Stripped my spare ka down to a bare block so it can get tanked, decked and honed. gonna have the crank checked along with all my rod's and pistons. my valve springs and stem seals came in today so the head can finally get reassembled.

I almost raped one of my cam dishes using a giant c-clip and a socket... Fuck that shit. Supertech springs turn deep sockets into projectiles and I like my teeth.

I don't see why it's a bad idea. I think having random plugs not leading to anything just laying around my interior makes the car seem more janky. It's not like I'm doing a stupid wire tuck or extending anything. Just cleaning it up.

You're asking for problems little dude, if it isn't broken don't fix it. Use zip ties to hide the plugs you don't want to see or just suck it up and deal with them being visible. The last thing you want is electrical fuckry. Unnecessary wiring isn't fun.
