Datsun Dreaming
Is that just the glass or does it include the urathane and molding. I can call our suppliers and see if we can get it cheaper. i know oem moldings are like 150ish or you can puse a universal for like 15bucks
Pretty sure that's just the glass.
so the other day, i went to my buddys shop and tinkered on the GTR a bit, had to re do the lip for the 47234927340294th time...

just a cool shot of my buddy marks "beater" RX7, his other FD is a full carbon car (hood, fenders, 1/4's, doors/panels, hatch, both bumpers, side skirts, dash, dash pod etc etc etc), will get pics of that shit later...

our whips...

Gainesville's getting there...
so, big big shit hole day yesterday...
i'm driving down one of the main thoroughfares in gainesville, and my clutch pedal assembly decides to folt up like a beer can and seperate from the firewall.... at a red light, in front on one of the largest hospitals in the SE, Shands at UF, right at lunch hour....
it's all wobbly...

so i had to push the car about 200ft, no easy task when the car is AWD and is 3200lbs when i'm only 150lbs... called my buddy up (sullivanracing06) and we went and got my car from my uncles shop which i drove to with clutchless shifting... he then says "let's tow it with the prelude!" i was like "shouldn't we use the durango?" he was pretty much like "shut the fuck up, i got this bro", and this was the result...

not every day you see a honda prelude flat towing a Skyline GTR through Gainesville, right when all schools are letting out...
so i get to toms (sullivanracing06) house....

pull my clutch pedal out and it looks like this....

worse than it looked, spent maybe 30 minutes getting it bent back somehwere by OEM places... then stick welded it up, and ran a bead on the seams on either side... fucking OEM pinch weld failure...
my sincerest thanks go out to sullivanracing06, if anyone ever needs any help, he's your go to guy, prob one of the most knowledgeable nissan guys in gainesville besides myself, once again, thanks tom!

Yha Ive had the pinch welds break too. Welded the seams on all 4 sides. Thankfully My car started out an auto and my 5 speed trans is synchromesh. Shifting threw all 5 gears with out using the clutch for the first time kinda blew my mind.
