you have a good point, i just dont really like s14's or 350z's enough to own or most cars out there for that matter... i just like s13's for some reason plus its just deployment money and my career is pretty much setting me up for constant deployment so right now the money is just for fun. now if i could get my hands on an r33/s15 thatd be a different story,lol

just make sure you shop around for S13's... there's a few gems out there to be had, i wouldn't recommend buying one off TR, hit craigslist, in some country town 4-5 hours away, you'll find something nice... hell, there's this old black guy in town who's got a MINT S13 coupe LE, OEM gold paint, brown leather (eww), but the car is retarded mint, like, WHAT THE FUCK mint... i bet i could go to that guy with $1500 and drive away, as it wont be some taxed out pile of shit on TR.

just take your time, shop around, you'll find a nice one that's a worthy foundation.

 

rumors, na im pretty out of touch with the goings on of tr, ive been stationed in hawaii for the last two years shit i think this is the first time ive been on tr in that long.thats the only issue hawaii is stupid on safety laws for cars, all the og guys in the scene have all put their shit away and called it quits.i was building an rb coupe before but between safety inspections and the deployment i had to sell it.mainly i just wanna do a super clean coupe sil front with the supermade aero,nice wheels/suspension and build a nasty sr. original no but i like things nice and simple.

fixed lip on the mustang GT/CS, girlfriend hit a armadillo/opossum a while back, lip was sagging due to cracks.

This weekend I stripped all of the sound deadner out. It took me all day Saturday to strip all of it, but I left the firewall insulation on so that it doesn't get too hot. When I got the car I bought $60 worth of Rustoleum and painted the inside black, I mean EVERYTHING. Now that money went to waste because I painted over the sound deadner. I should have weighed the everything I took out but I was too tired by 12'oclock in the morning to do it. Also tinted the tail lights and turn signals. Anyway, here's some pics.

 

I hate that mobil1 high mileage bullshit. It's like syrup.

 

first time trying it, i know the motor has less than 75K, but i figured I'd run it for 2500 or so miles, see if it'll help flush out any minor build up. inside the VC's looked clean, with almost no caramelized oil anywhere, i'd like to keep it that way, if not clean it up a bit more.
