New o2 sensor on the s14, think I replaced the original, then burned and sandblasted my spare s14 subframe, prepping for spl conversion solids.

Finally going to start on the fastback to coupe s13 shell swap next weekend, trying to figure out what I should take care of while the engine/trans is out, any suggestions?

Pulled old open diff, installed 4.36 180sx diff. Hooray.

 

Found a company that finally makes a SR/VQ transmission adapter kit.

Might look into it later on this year. You could probably fix the shifter location by bending the shift rod in an S shape so it wouldnt sit so far back.

Drove my coupe for the first time in months. I fucking love it.

 

interested to see if they make KA one. it would be nice to have a 6th gear. with the right dif gas mileage would be halfway decent for a turbo charged KA. still the badass-ness of it cannot be overlooked

OT. power steering/water pump belt snapped i thought i just ran over something and then my car started to overheat .close call. now shes spending the night at hess gas station until i buy a new one tomorrow morning.
