S2000's are awesome! Doesn't Scott have one?

Save up for an AP2 if you going that route. I have driven both models and the Z and I would definitely pick the S2000 > Z. The S2000 feels more like the S14 with its weight but doesn't have the grunt. The Z feels way to heavy for my liking.

And by driven I mean around a course, not to publix and back.

Yeah but I think an AP1/2 would sorta suck every day and the lack of power would kill it. Driving in the mountains would be a blast and probably be a little more fun because its more agile, but when it comes down to day-day driving the Z has the S2k trumped. Plus the Z with a Nismo exhaust sounds way more awesome than anything the S2000 can come up with..

Then I guess you just answered your own question. Either way, the result will be awesomeness.

I need to drive them, which I've yet to do before I make any decisions.

I will say that the S2000 would be a bit cheaper to get what I want out of it though, but probably less comfy.
