Even if that did happen i'd imagine one would know to find tdc and count links to set cam timing.

Yeah we did that. That's when we found that the VTC gear had gone all sea cucumber. I just wanted to make the point that it can happen so that someone reading through here doesn't disqualify that on their own car without checking.

 

I kicked the idle up this morning to about 1600rshared_pm so it wouldnt stall or be annoying to drive and the seems a little better to drive since yesterday. Sill goes in to boost just fine as well, just late.

 

sold my bmw to eric yesterday, hopefully picking up its super boring replacement tomorrow.
havent touched the s13 since last weekend, need to get a seatrail made, but im in no rush at all.
anyone have any use for a recaro skyline right side seat rail?
