I'm honestly starting to think the VTC gear itself is getting stuck or something weird or I some how shorted something in the ECU. I just did a leak down test and all the cylinders hold 90psi for over 10 minutes with out issue. So the rings, head gasket and valves are sealing.
I also just took it for a drive and for the first minute it drove pretty much normal, then after that it started acting up again. Still idles like shit though and tries to stall. It seems more like when it had a leaking injector than anything.
There is no oil blow-by at all in the turbo intake, engine timing isnt off, its not burning oil or water at all and nothing else weird is coming out of the exhaust. Spark plugs aren't fouled and look pretty good.

Epstein dropped by today to check out the motor and we came to the conclusion that my Vtak broke. It seems I broke the casing on the VTC gear and it seems to have shot my intake cam timing to hell which is why the compression numbers where so low, but the leak down test proved other wise.
So thats good new, I just need to find an S13 intake gear as a temp replacement until I decide to buy a new VTC gear.

got the jun pump off the old crank with a bent/broken keyway, ordered a new cometic 87mm h/g. debating on when to pull the rb20 out of its home so its big brother on roids and nawz can replace it

New sparco steering wheel got here today
And the brake lines from SPL for the front and rear brakes, Z32 all around, till I get the rotors for the R32 brakes.
